We are currently looking for an Google Earth Support

What you´ll do

Develop an in-depth understanding of Earth Engine's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.



Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Earth Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.



Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive high-quality production.



Help customers troubleshoot and manage their processing of large geospatial data sets, including integration with machine learning pipelines



Organize and address external Earth Engine questions and issues (e.g., those raised on StackOverflow, technical mailing lists, etc.)



Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24-hour customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.



Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive high-quality production.



Help customers troubleshoot and manage their processing of large geospatial data sets, including integration with machine learning pipelines




Necessary skills and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.



Experience in advocating for customer needs.



Experience reading or debugging code in a scripting language (e.g. Python or JavaScript)



Experience working with GIS tools to analyze geospatial data




Preferred



Experience using Earth Engine



Experience with remote sensing applications



Experience working with Google Cloud Geospatial tools (e.g., BigQuery, PostGIS)
